I am Pastor Angelo Scannapieco and with my wife Chiara and my children Selene, Tabita and Gabriele, we are in ministry involved with the salvation and spiritual growth of our community. Through this website you are welcome to watch our messages with teaching from the Word of God and also keep informed with upcoming news and events.

PASTORS

Since 1999, Pastor Angelo Scannapieco has been teaching at Rhema Bible Training Center Italy, from which he has received honorary recognition. Author of the books "Gli affinchè di di Dio" and “Scegli il tuo destino,” Pastor Angelo is invited to teach at various bible schools in Italy and is an appreciated orator of the Word of God, with a keen sensitivity to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Since "bringing" the Word and the New Birth into the homes and lives of the community is the main goal of his vision for the church, Pastor Angelo has developed a number of initiatives simultaneously: 1) every week there are house groups called “Cells” which meet in small groups for prayer and Word based encouragement, 2) for further teaching and instruction, he founded a bible school within the church especially tailored for its members for a total duration of three years. As of 1997, Pastor Angelo has been spearheading CEF – the summer European Faith Conference. He’s the founder of the Biblical Itinerant Institute Didachè (Ibi-Didachè) and also carries out a television program entitled “Beyond the mountains,” which airs multiple times weekly on the Christian television network TBNE.
Additionally, Pastor Angelo is actively involved in mission trips all over the world, as he sincerely believes in and remains faithful to the Word:
“Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth. “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

PASTOR CHIARA SCANNAPIECO
Pastor Chiara, as a woman in ministry given to excellence in support of the care of the church of Baranzate with her husband Pastor Angelo, has the same passion and vision for the spreading of the Word of God in the world.
She has been a worship-leader in the local church and teacher at Rhema Bible Training Center Italy as of 2000, from which she has received honorary recognition.

Founder and teacher of a school of prayer within the church, pastor Chiara also conducts seminars throughout the nation. Her love of spreading The Word has led her to the dream of a great evangelistic project, the musical "Ruth, the pearl of Moab." She partook of the production of the show which was repeatedly performed in a theater in Milan with great success and good reviews.

HISTORY

Joshua 1:3-9

This is the beginning of the ministry that has given life to the church of which you are becoming a member. In June of that year the pastors had just graduated from bible school and they returned to Milan with the desire in their hearts to start a new endeavor in the area north of the city. We started having some meetings at home or at the premises of the municipality and then we realized that we had a need to find a place of our own.
Meanwhile, on October 12, 1994 the association called Evangelical Christian Church: "Gesù Vive" was officially formed by the notary services. Today the church continues to maintain this legal status.
In the summer of 1995 the church leased the premises at 80 C. Amoretti Street and in October inaugurated the new headquarters. At the opening there were many pastors from various churches of Milan and elsewhere.
In September 2000 Sandra Porro left her secular job to get involved full-time with the pastors and to dedicate herself to the work of the Junior Church. Since 2002 the church has also been served by the work of Emanuela Schipani and presently of Selene Scannapieco as official secretary of the church.
June 27of 2002 is another date to remember: Pastor Angelo was appointed minister of the church by a decree of the Minister of Interior. This decree permits Pastor Angelo to officiate weddings with recognition as a civil authority.
In March 2003, prayer groups at home, or cells, officially began and have purposed to meet needs of believers who live far from the church and give them an opportunity to have midweek fellowship.
In January 2004 the Church Gesù Vive moved into the new building of 1,000 square meters located in Baranzate and this location presently serves as the headquarters of the church. On Sunday, January 4 of 2004 the first church service was celebrated in this new site.
On New Year’s Eve that year the pastor gathered with a group of believers and received a specific word for an entry into new "territory":
“For the land which you go to possess is not like the land of Egypt from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and watered it by foot, as a vegetable garden; 11 but the land which you cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven, a land for which the LORD your God cares; the eyes of the LORD your God are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year.”
Deuteronomy 10:11-12

It's time for a new level of growth and the new territory will be ready to receive the Word of God and ready to bear abundant fruit. "From the beginning until the end!!"
Today the Church Gesù Vive has over 200 members and a dozen of "cell groups” at home.

THE VISION

TO BRING dignity to individuals through the New Birth. God shall do this using you and me "precious stones of great value".
Man was created to have fellowship with God. In Christ we become children of God, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.

TO DEMONSTRATE how you can abide in Him and let His Word abide in us.

TO TEACH how you can live without condemned feelings because there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Now thanks be to Him that you are in Christ Jesus who has been made for us from God: wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption.

TO LEAD people to own their INHERITANCE. For Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made ​​a curse for us so that the BLESSING of Abraham might come to us in Christ Jesus.

From Quarto Oggiaro to Chiaravalle, from San Siro to Città Studi, from North to South and from East to West, the CHURCH will grow and will not stop so that at this present time through "Gesù Vive" church may be manifested to the principalities and powers and in heavenly places the manifold wisdom of God.
